Rims for the Chevrolet Silverado
The Chevrolet Silverado was not built to blend in. With up to 3,500 kg on the hook and massive torque under the bonnet it is a pickup that places high demands on the whole wheel setup. Whether you drive an LT Trail Boss, a High Country or the raw ZR2, the rim choice affects how it feels to drive, its load capacity and its appearance. Enter your registration number and we will show you straight away which rims fit your vehicle.
What should you consider when choosing rims for the Chevrolet Silverado?
The Silverado is a full-size American pickup and it shows in the demands it makes. The bolt pattern, the ET value and the right dimension are the three things you need to know before choosing a rim. The Silverado uses the 6x139.7 bolt pattern, a common American standard shared with the Ram 1500 and GMC Sierra among others. That means the range of suitable rims is wide. The ET value on the Silverado is generally lower than on European cars, which gives a wider track and a more dominant look. The original ET varies by model and trim but is often around ET28–ET31.
Bolt pattern and hub diameter on the Chevrolet Silverado
The right bolt pattern is the basic condition for a rim to fit. Here is what applies: Silverado 1500 (2014–): 6x139.7, hub diameter 78.1 mm. Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD: 8x165.1, hub diameter 116.7 mm. Silverado 2500 & 3500 (2010–): 8x180, hub diameter 124 mm. The Silverado 2500 and 3500 use an entirely different bolt pattern from the 1500 series, which matters to know. Enter your registration number on our site and the right rims are filtered out automatically.
Which rim size fits the Chevrolet Silverado?
The original sizes vary by trim and model year: Silverado WT and LT: 17–22 inches. Silverado LTZ and High Country: 20–22 inches. Silverado Trail Boss: 18 inches with all-terrain tyres from the factory. Silverado ZR2: 18 inches with Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT from the factory. Many Silverado owners choose to go up to 20 or 22 inches for a fuller look. Remember that larger rims need a lower tyre profile to keep the overall wheel circumference right; otherwise the speedometer, and at worst the ABS system, is affected.

They take cold, salt and tough road conditions without a second thought – perfect as winter wheels or for vehicles used for heavy transport. Alloy wheels for the Chevrolet Silverado
Alloy wheels lift the whole Silverado, in both appearance and performance. The lighter construction reduces unsprung weight and improves handling and braking performance, noticeably so on a vehicle in this weight class. We have alloy wheels for the Silverado in a wide range of designs and finishes, from clean High Country wheels to aggressive multispoke models in matt black, anthracite, gun metal or polished silver. We have a carefully selected range of off-road rims that suit the Silverado without compromising how it behaves on ordinary roads.
